SL Controls attended an ISPE Event on Career Guidance and Development entitled ‘Think Forward, Think Success’ in the Lighthouse Cinema, Smithfield, Co. Dublin on Thursday 21st of May last. The event was organised by the ISPE Young Professional committee of which SL Controls Compliance Director Dermot Mc Morrow is a member. The main objective of the event was to assist young professionals in the industry in achieving their career goals. During the event a broad range of speakers from the IDA, Enterprise Ireland and Industry Leaders from Pharmaceutical Companies shared their knowledge with attendees in the following topical areas:
• Profile of Successful Start-up Company
• Staff vs Contracting in the Industry
• Skills currently sought in Pharma Industry
• Career Options outside Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Companies
In the closing address of the event SL Controls Compliance Director and ISPE Young Professionals committee member Dermot Mc Morrow thanked all the speakers for their very informative, interesting and entertaining presentations on the topics outlined above. He also thanked the sponsors of the event and all the delegates for attending. He also encouraged more young professionals to consider joining the ISPE Young Professionals committee and also encouraged delegates that were not currently members of the ISPE to consider joining.
