Like many other companies, the SL Controls team is currently working from their own homes. We have put in place structures and procedures to ensure effective remote working, but being employed is not just about work, as there is a social aspect to being part of a company too. So, we held our first Employee Appreciation Celebrating Wins Together social event this week – all virtually, of course.
Plus, as it is St Patrick’s week, the evening had a St Patrick’s theme. The dress code was “green is good, ridiculous is better”.
The event took place over Zoom and was hosted by DJ Mick. We played Hit Mix Bingo and enjoyed magician Kristian Grey.
Shauna Ryan, HR Manager at SL Controls, said: “Normally we would have a number of social events at SL Controls over the year, but Covid-19 and the restrictions that are in place to control the pandemic mean we are physically apart.
“However, we have been committed to coming together as often as possible in the virtual space to celebrate our wins as a company and spend time with each other outside of work.”
