The Role

Role Brief

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Equipment Engineering department to assist R&D and Operations on New Product Development Programs and Sustaining Programs by participating on the Design, Build, Commissioning and Qualification of New Equipment as well as Equipment Upgrades.

You will work commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and supporting existing and new manufacturing equipment.

Database design, development, monitoring and SQL script authoring will form a key part of the role.

You will also contribute to all phases of software development including design, implementation, unit test, integration, release and validation support.

Skills Brief

  • One of more of the following higher level coding languages is essential
  • VB
  • .Net
  • C#
  • SQL Server
  • SQL Server script authoring using TSQL programming/Database Design
  • PC Build and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic understanding of machine I/O.
  • A relevant Computer Science / Engineering related Degree qualification

Person Brief

Candidates must have a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent, with emphasis in software development. While regulated industry experience is an advantage, any technically focused industry experience will be considered. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and strong problem solving skills.
