Role Brief
The successful candidate will work with SL Controls, a leading systems integrator of manufacturing solutions into the Pharma, Med Device, Biotech and Life Sciences industries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, commissioning and support of automation and control systems. He/she will also be responsible for automation and control systems design, specification, programming, simulation, testing and start-up assistance.
Skills Brief
- The candidate must have strong experience with Siemens Automation Systems
- Strong Industrial Automation / Manufacturing Industry experience
- GMP environnement experience (Pharma, Med Devices, Biotech)
- Proven knowledge and experience with one or more of the following will be an advantage: SCADA, Control Systems, Vision Systems
- Pack equipment systems, Cognex and Serialisation experience – Some level of experience in all or any of these is highly advantageous but subject matter expert level experience is NOT required
- Strong technical systems integration experience with broad exposure to a range of technical systems
- Exposure to a range of tasks such as FAT, SAT, Commissioning and Validation
- Higher level language skills such as C# and .NET advantageous but not essential
Person Brief
Candidates must have a B.Sc. degree in Engineering or equivalent, with emphasis in software development, electrical, electronic or automation discipline, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in industry, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, blue chip or relevant GMP manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and strong problem skills.
