Role Brief

The role will be focused on an EUMDR project to support the installation and commissioning of laser hardware and associated foil feed assembly.

Core Activities:

  • The removal and installation of Laser printers and mechanical foil feed assemblies on the production lines
  • Alignment of components to ensure smooth and steady foil transfer
  • Install and set up of new foil and laser detection triggers
  • Assembly and installation of new vision detection systems (cameras and mounting frames)
  • The completion of mechanical test plans for the assemblies
  • Coordination of line level activities for the PT’s during installation

Skills Brief

  • Project Engineering experience (Maintenance Engineer/Technician/Fitter etc.)
  • Mechanical Engineering background
  • Hands on experience with machine building/adjustments
  • Understanding of automation/control processes
  • Mechanical design experience (drawings creation and updates)
  • Pharma/Med device experience preferred
  • Validation/Qualification experience

Person Brief

Candidates should have a relevant science or engineering tertiary qualification with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Medical Devices sector or another closely related regulated environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a demonstrated understanding of quality processes and related validation and compliance standards. In addition to this, strong attention to detail and an excellent understanding of validation concepts and documentation is required.

This is an onsite role so you must be able to commute daily to the Limerick based site location.
