This seminar is due to take place in the Manchester Hilton Airport Hotel on the 4th of September 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Serialization affects both pharmaceutical and medical device industries with companies facing the challenge of implementing suitable controls to meet the different regulations in today\u2019s global market. Dermot Mc Morrow of SL Controls believes \u201cit was clear that many pharmaceutical companies require a more in-depth update on the legislation and how it is going to impact their manufacturing process\u201d. This half day seminar will explore the methods and practices for a successful project implementation.<\/p>\n<p>There will be four speakers on the day including, David DeJean, Vice president of Systech International who will be speaking about \u2018How the International Serialization Regulations are impacting the UK Pharmaceutical sector\u2019. DeJean brings a wealth of market knowledge, hands-on experience in serialization solution development and project methodology.<\/p>\n<p>Shane Loughlin, SL Controls CTO &amp; School of Engineering, Dublin Institute of Technology will speak about \u2018Designing an Integration Strategy for Enterprise Serialization\u2019. Shane is a recognised expert in the area of Equipment Systems Integration with 30 years\u2019 experience in the industry.<\/p>\n<p>Ian Haynes Senior Engineer at 3C Integrity will speak on the topic of &#8220;Planning your Serialization Project &#8211; Strategy Development and Project Implementation Methodologies\u201d. Previously Ian was an Associate Engineering Director in the Global Engineering Technology group at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals where, alongside other activities, he played a key role in AZ\u2019s Pack Coding and Security Features program.
