SL Controls took part in the Company Marathon Relay Challenge in Limerick on Thursday last for the third time. The annual event takes place on National Fitness Day and promotes living a healthy and active lifestyle.
The SL Controls team competed against 16 other companies with a base in Limerick including Johnson & Johnson, Stryker, and UL Sport.
Norma Mulligan, HR Generalist at SL Controls, said “The Marathon Challenge was again this year a highlight of our Live Well calendar. As with previous years, it was very enjoyable and well-organised, and it was great to see so many companies in Limerick getting involved. For the SL Controls team, it was also a great team bonding opportunity.”
On the day, we had 20 employees taking part in the marathon distance relay. It rained, but that didn’t dampen the spirits as the SL Controls team completed the race in a time of 2 hours 28 minutes.
