Delta V Engineer


Location: Sligo

The DeltaV Systems Administrator will be working on a large critical high value project on site.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and upgrade automated systems.
  • Contribute to the technical strategy for execution of Automation Projects on-site.
  • Review all work during the design, commissioning, and validation stages.
  • Plan projects and tasks in conjunction with key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with automation engineers to manage the project timeline.
  • Design, code and test DeltaV software changes identified during all stages of the project.

Requirements and Competencies

We are interested in speaking with Automation Engineers who have the following:

  • Strong experience of DeltaV Batch Processing
  • Knowledge of S88
  • Demonstrated proficiency communicating and collaborating at a variety of levels, coupled with excellent organization and planning skills
  • In addition to problem solving, project management ability is essential
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with minimum direct supervision
  • Strong Customer relationship management skills
  • Strong Critical thinking skills

Specific Skills:

  • Significant experience working with DeltaV distributed controls systems
  • You will have Emerson Process Management DeltaV Platform experience as well as knowledge and experience in Batch Processing
  • At least 3 years’ experience with Automation systems administration, knowledge in one or more of the following systems, Rockwell Factory Talk, DeltaV, OSI PI Historian, Syncade, Siemens

Educational / Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems or Computer Science
  • At least 3 years’ experience with Automation systems administration, knowledge in one or more of the following systems, Rockwell Factory Talk, DeltaV, OSI PI Historian, Syncade, Siemens
