DiVOM is an analytical tool, unique to SL Controls that was researched and developed by SL Controls Industry Specialists in conjunction with Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT).

The structure and design for the application was derived from research conducted over a 10-year period on equipment procurement projects across the medical device and pharmaceutical sector and the resulting impact on OEE and regulatory compliance.

Application of DiVOM on client sites within the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Food and Beverage sectors in Ireland and the UK has delivered measurable savings of up to 30% on equipment operating costs.

How have SL Controls saved Client’s Money?

SL Controls have provided systems integration services to a leading medical device supplier since 2004.  One of the key projects delivered for this client was the development of multiple line management and traceability system’s on a total of nine medical device production and packaging lines at the production facility.

The lines within the facility consist of automated assembly, horizontal form fill and seal process with corrugate erector, packer and closer and pallet management.

The client has stated “The SL Controls solution is responsible for full data management of the lines.
